All of them are superb,

I like the horse too, but I can see how the sense of mystery in the Ringmaster draws people in. The horse will go inside the book. I have 11 illustrations scattered throughout a 300 page book. It's unconventional for a book aimed at teens, but since this is my gig, I get to do what I want. :-)

The first one is compelling--a bit of mystery a bit of romance--especially, I suspect for an audience of an age with your heroine. However, the horse is such a fantastic graphic that I cannot not vote for it. It was a privilege to see these possibilities, and I hope you can work them all in somewhere/somehow (UK edition? heh, heh)...

I went for the ringmaster. It will get the young audience the best.

Man, I can't wait to read this! Version A is AWESOME, but maybe too mysterious, veering towards slightly sinister? Seems like B might match the tone of the book well. Either way, they are all great!

Hi Jane, I like the horse one the best, though would love to see a cover with your heroine. I look forward to your book!

I liked the first one best. I thought they were all gorgeous, but thought the one with the horse and the girl didn't focus enough on the girl to be interesting enough -- maybe a version of that one where the girl is the main focus would work better for me and the last one, I thought, offered no hints at all about the genre or the story.

Hi, Jane. They're all great but B is the one that would make me pick up the book, and it seems to best represent the story. It has the circus, the young girl, the horses, and sense of action -- all of which add up to reader appeal. Good luck with the book!
